Netcore Anti-Spam Gets Unique Certification

The popular anti-spam software solution contributing 65 percent of total revenues at Netcore Solutions, Emergic Cleanmail (ECM) received the prestigious CheckMark certificate from West Coast Labs (WCL). ECM is a managed service provided by Netcore with powerful and well performing anti-spam protection ensuring 100 percent virus protection and 99 percent spam protection, said WCL September 2007 report. Chris Thomas, Operations Director at WCL - an independent research and test center confirmed, “Having successfully completed the extensive testing, Netcore’s CleanMail Anti-Spam Managed service has achieved the premium level Checkmark certification.” In addition to offices at Chennai and Ahmedabad, Mumbai based Netcore added five branches at Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, and New Delhi in past two years to capture growing MSP demand. Encompassing a robust channel network of 18 players and 10 international partners; the certification will prove to a catalyst for the product; felt a confident Rajesh Jain, MD, Netcore. Over the past 10 years, Netcore has built over 1000 corporate clients in India and abroad for its Linux-based messaging and Security Solutions and 60 percent of its customer base is SMBs.According to Netcore officials, 70 percent mails in the customer’s mail box are spam. Netcore, with 100 plus employees, provides security solutions for email protection enabling enterprises to conduct effective business over the internet. Comprehensive third part security auditing is fast emerging as an essential practice for delivering secure and assured anti-spam solutions. The company started a direct selling approach with Emergic Cleanamail when launched in 2004 before pursuing a channel driven module. Kalpit Jain, Business Head –Messaging and Security, Netcore Solutions revealed, “We analyze 10 million emails across one lakh mail boxes on a daily basis and then virus free /spam free email traffic is delivered to the client,” said Jain. With servers located at the state-of- the-art, fault tolerant Internet data center (IDC) in USA and India; the company is now focusing to provide services to developing countries like Philippines, Nigeria. “Since ECM is a SaaS offering; the geographic location of customer is irrelevant,” said Jain.
