Easy, secure, automatic data backups over the internet to a secure Storage server located at the TC data centre and an additional copy mirrored to another TC Storage server. Data is encrypted, compressed and securely transmitted over the Internet, and can be easily retrieved from the backup console anywhere in the world.
A minimum of 30 days rolling backup is kept at the TC Data Centre.
Daily notification of the status of backups will be sent to the relevant person.

High Speed Connectivity to TC Data Centre
The TC Channel Bonding Data Centre Service creates a high speed communication link between the client and the TC Data Centre.
Some examples of when this solution will apply:
- Backing up data into the TC Data Centre
- Creating a link between the customer’s premises and the customers virtual data centre located at TC
- Gaining access to an application server located in the TC hosting environment
- Running business critical servers in the TC Data Centre providing the appropriate infrastructure including battery backup and generator
Increased Upload and Download Speeds
By using the TC Channel Bonding Data Centre Service, we are able to combine multiple ADSL lines and increase the download and upload capability across that line. Using 5 ADSL lines at an office, the download speed from the TC Data Centre would increase up to 20Mb/second the upload speed into the TC Data Centre would increase up to 1920Kb/sec.
Increased Redundancy
In addition to the increased performance, you also have increased redundancy should an ADSL line fail as it would continue to operate on the remaining ADSL lines.
Components of the Solution
The solution requires the installation of a Bonding Router with the appropriate number of ADSL ports at the clients premises and the purchase of a TC Data Centre Bandwidth package.
The TC Channel Bonding Data Centre Service provides:
- Significantly increased performance to the TC Data Centre through multiple ADSL lines
- Redundancy - multiple ADSL lines (automatically included or excluded from the bonding solution based on current status of each ADSL line)
- Integrated ADSL modems
- Flexibility – add more lines and upgrade the office ADSL bandwidth when required
- Monthly pricing includes provision of all the required hardware
Note that the solution only provides access to the TC Data Centre and not to the internet. Access to the internet is through the TC Channel Bonding Internet Service.
